Whirlwind Floss Machines
The X-15R Standard Whirlwind is a fourth generation 5, 1/2" diameter two ribbon floss machine! If you have adequate voltage and don't need the built-in booster, the X-15R is a great value for you. Uses the same spinnerhead design, motor, floss bowl and other heavy duty features found on the Tornado and the Deluxe Whirlwind. The rheostat is the "heat control". A very simple machine to operate – capable of producing almost 300 ounces of Cotton Candy per hour. Produces about 70% more than the single ribbon Econo Floss. If you work some big events, make sure you have at least a 3000 watt generator – take candy floss to the big crowds and make big profits with the X-15R!
#3015SS Stainless Steel X15 Whirlwind
Whirlwind – the most famous name in the cotton candy industry. The first Whirlwind, back in 1949, has been improved many, many times. Today, the X15 Whirlwind will plug into virtually any 120 volt, 60 Hz, 20 amp electric outlet and give perfect cotton candy production on a continuous basis.
Both X15 Floss Machines use a rheostat to effectively reduceincoming line voltage down to the point where you can maximize cotton candy production and at the same time eliminate burningsugar into the ribbons or the floss band.
The X15 uses the double deck 5, 1/2" band – two ribbons just about double the production of the Econo Floss or the Floss Boss.The X15 is the easiest cotton candy machine to operate – fill thespinner head, turn both switches on and by turning the heat control knob you adjust the voltage so that the needle on the voltmeter points to the "green" area. Note that all Whirlwind, Tornado, Econo Floss and Mega Floss machines include the Whirl Grip Floss Stabilizer. (Only the Floss Boss requires this to be purchased extra).

This is exactly what its name implies – the most deluxe Whirlwind we have ever produced. The original Whirlwind in 1948 revolutionized the Cotton Candy business. Today, the Deluxe Whirlwind contains a built in voltage booster – four brushes for much longer brass life – voltage meter visible for "pin point" operator control. No rheostats – rather, variable transformer action controls voltage to the head and heating elements.
The pros use two or three Deluxe Whirlwinds to make to color or three color floss (three color sells better).

From the inset photo, notice the 3/4" spacing between the heating elements – this patented feature helps create more "Fluff in the Floss." Also, helps increase the sugar capacity in the head. All Deluxe Whirlwinds now use the "high profile" spinnercap, which helps the spinnerhead hold upwards of 10% more sugar.
The unique production properties of these Super High Output machine actually help get more servings per pound of sugar – more servings per hour and therefore more profit per serving and more profit per hour.This Super High Output (S.H.O.) design machine also includes the built-in voltage booster.
