ventilation. Air Conditioning is available as an option.
Serving windows in polished aluminum frames are fitted to either side
of the vehicle. The sliding opening windows can be modified to suit any opening required,

interpret hygiene laws differently.)

Illuminated louvers are fitted at either side above the serving windows
and at front of vehicle, these are illuminated by fluorescent tubes from inside and are

INTERIOR FITTINGS
A 24 cubic foot holdover (cold plate) deep freezer is fitted across
rear of vehicle with 4 flip-flop lids on top. The eutectic plates in this deep freezer
ensure that a temperature of 10F or less is maintained in normal daily use. The
holdover system requires that the 1HP condensing unit, fitted in the rear of the vehicle,
is plugged into mains electricity for at least 8 hours or more (overnight) per 24 hours.
A 14 cubic foot holdover chill storage fridge is fitted behind the
drivers seat. This has 2 doors at front and can be fitted with shelves as required.
Temperatures are again maintained by eutectic holdover plates. The chill storage is used
for the storage of soft serve mix and for cold drinks. All refrigeration units are
constructed in 304-grade stainless steel and are more than adequately insulated with
polyurethane foam insulation.
Three stainless steel wash sinks and drainer are fitted in the cab area
of the vehicle. These are supplied with hot and cold running water via a mixer faucet tap
from a 30-gallon fresh water tank by a pressurized water system. Hot water is provided by
a 5-gallon calorifier heated by the vehicle engine. A stainless steel hand wash sink with
hot and cold water is located beneath the counter in the serving area adjacent to the soft
ice cream freezer. A 35-gallon wastewater tank with drain tap is located beneath the
vehicle floor. The serving are is completely separated from the drive cab with a full
partition fitted with a self-closing door.
The soft serve ice cream machine is mechanically powered via a power
take-off from the vehicle drive engine. This system does not require any electrical power
other than the 12volt DC system of the vehicle for the machine control circuits. This
system has been produced and used by the production company for over 35 years and has been
sold to over 45 countries worldwide. This system is very reliable and does not require the
vehicle to carry a heavy generator to power the soft serve machine. This also makes the
operation very economic and simple to maintain, requiring only regular engine servicing.
Furthermore, since the vehicle engine is driving the equipment at an
idle speed, great fuel economy is achieved.
Interior lighting is by 2 fluorescent light tubes fitted at either side
covered with diffusers.
All work surfaces are in stainless steel or easy clean laminate.
The floor is in heavy-duty non-slip altro flooring on top of an
exterior grade ply floor to provide an easy clean hygienic surface.
All products used are of the highest quality available. The Production
Company has over 40 years of experience and has attained the status of world leader in the
